Having experienced training that carried an elite and intensive nature, Szynkarsky understood the concept of hard work and dedication, valuable attributes that navigated her in the direction of her second passion in life. The world of art and fashion descended on the now designer and is the field that presently embodies her life, where she is currently completing a diploma in Fashion Design.
“Many of my inspirations come from my poetry,” says Szynkarsky. “I write a lot of poetry and a particular poem will inspire a particular fashion design. The inspirations for my previous collection “ROOM WITH A VIEW” came from a poem that I wrote.” The poem was read out at her pop up shop last year in Montreal.
The inspiration for Brielle’s SS18 Couture collection “Untold Stories” reflects the minor yet beautiful and instrumental events in a woman’s life – storyline who find themselves as unobserved. Focusing on 19th century Romanticism, Szynkarsky manipulates opulent fabrications, including tulle, lace, jacquards, large tassels, satin cord and handmade pearl trimmings, floral brogues, and jewelry, translated amid hues of ivories, chamois, caramel tones, dark lilacs and black to exemplify the juxtaposition of the romanticism. An array of structured bustier’s to Jodhpur pants to puffy tulle dresses represent the silhouettes that preserve to elucidate the melody of “Untold Stories”.
