Izaho no zana-drahalan'ny vehivavy iray antsoina hoe Mayisha Akbar, Iza no mpanorina ny ranony. Nanomboka tamin'ny fikambanana izy 1988 antsoina hoe compton jr. Posse, Fikambanana tsy mitady tombony amin'ny alàlan'ny mpitaingin-tsoavaly mba hitazonana ny ankizy amin'ny soavaly sy eny an-dalambe any Compton. Ny mpanorina an'i Compton tenany dia mpamboly. Tena lehibe tokoa izy tamin'ny fambolena, Ka nanondro ity tanàna kely ity izy, Nantsoina hoe Farms Richland, Amin'ny maha-tanàna iray izay tsy maintsy mijanona ho tanàna fiompiana, MANDRAKIZAY. Noho izany, Na dia nampidirina aza ny tanàna, ity fombafomba kely ity eto.
Tafintohina tamin'ity tanàna kely ity izy, ary toy ny toa azy izy, "andriakaky ô, Afaka mipetraka eto aho ary manana soavaly ary miaina ny nofinofiko omby, ary toy ny toa azy izy, "Helo yeah!" Noho izany, nanao an'izany izy. Nanana ankizy telo izy tamin'izany, ary ny raiko dia nanan-janaka roa, ny tenako sy ny rahalahiko. Nahazo trano teo amin'ny manodidina izy, Nanana soavaly na roa. Nanana soavaly roa izy sy ny namany. Sy aminy, Izany no fiainana. Izany no ho fiainana. Mihalehibe, Manangana ny zanany manodidina ny soavaly, ary farany, izy dia ho omby ary tokony hiaina an'io fiainana io. Izany no nofiny.
Nanomboka nampiasa soavaly izy mba hampianatra ny fahaiza-miaina. Namorona rafitra iray izay hanitsiana ny ankizy ny tenany mba haniry handeha. Ary io dia lasa zavatra tena mahafinaritra ho azy ireo satria nanomboka nifandray avy hatrany sy nanova ny fiainan'ny ankizy. Maro amin'ireo ankizy ireo tonga adala, ary ny minitra manaraka, Toy ny izy ireo, "Mila mandeha mianatra aho, Mila mandeha an-dakilasy aho satria te handeha."
Saika niaina tao anatin'ny iray amin'ireo sarimihetsika ireo izahay, where there's only one black team that's going into this white space and trying to accomplish something. It's like that same arc. We would show up and be the only black kids at the spot, but we showed up and showed out. We won a whole bunch of events.
Man, we would be going everywhere and getting popular and winning a lot of events, and we had the cool uniforms and everything, and it was a great time. That was our childhood, was these Compton kids, but full-blown cowboy and cowgirl kids. We would go to the rodeos and do all that. Camping trips and just everything.
dia, life starts happening. We all started getting into high school and stuff and wanting to do our own thing, play other sports, hang with girls. We dissipated a little bit, but we were always friends. Izahay dia tsy mitovy amin'ny klique cowboy-cowgirl mitovy ihany fa fony izahay mbola kely. Nanao zavatra samihafa izahay izao, fa mbola ho mpanan-karena izahay.

Ny fo sy ny fanahin'ny zavatra ataontsika dia ny mamorona fotoana sy hamerenany ny fiaraha-monina misy antsika. Mikasika ity ranoma ity, ireto soavaly ireto, namonjy ny ainay ho ankizy. Ary manana olona nihalehibe izahay izay tsy nanao azy, ary nalevinay ny homena, Very ho an'ny homy izahay, ary ny antony lehibe iray manavaka indrindra dia ny hoe omby izahay, ary tsy izy ireo.
Ny mantra dia, "Nitaiza anay ny arabe, Nisy soavaly namonjy anay." Tena misy izany. Ho anay, Toy ny, "Ireo soavaly ireo dia namonjy ny ainay. Ahoana no fomba itondrantsika azy amin'ny taranaka manaraka ary hanohy ny fandoavan-tena ary hanangana modely izay azontsika ampiasaina mba hamerenany sy hanao asa ara-piarahamonina ary asio azy amin'ny fahaiza-manao manerantany?" We're creating an environment, nothing like anybody's ever seen. Most of the time, to get to these kind of environments, you have to go to these wealthy, far-out, elitist kind of neighborhoods. And for us, we're like, "But now, based on the engine that we develop, we're able to put that right here in our hood and stay here."
I live here. I live on the ranch. This is my family property. We're still dealing with all of the street struggles in the hood and everything that goes with it, but we are here fighting to change the narrative, create a better community, create a better city, create opportunities for kids around here, and it's worth it.
The kids, they can come in here. One of my young boys that came through here, came in super rough around the edges. I couldn't believe how far gone he was at 11 taona maro. Ary rehefa nifanena taminy aho, Nitomany azy ny alina nifanena taminy aho, Satria tiako, "Bika, Ity no zava-mitranga ao amin'ny hazoko? Ireo ankizy ireo dia 11 SY 12 ary mahalala ny fomba handehanana sy ny fanaovana varotra sy ny fivarotan-tena sy ny fivarotan-tena ary hamindra zava-mahadomelina ary hitondra basy. Ity zazalahy ity, Tsy ao amin'ny sekoly ambaratonga antonony akory izy," Fantatrao izay lazaiko?
Rehefa nahita izany aho dia afaka mijery io zaza io ihany fa mirary soa ny soavaly, Ary izao dia mandeha amin'ny mpitaingina omby matihanina izy izao, ary tsy mieritreritra ny momba ny arabe akory izy? Izany no dikan'izany rehetra izany. Izany no fahatsapana tena mahasoa indrindra. Izany no tanjona rehetra ary iraka ampanaovina izay ataonay dia ny mahavonjy sy hanova ny fiainan'ny ankizy.
Ho anay, Toy ny, Saka tanora izahay avy amin'ny sakana, Fa isika dia hametraka ny tenantsika amin'ny lalana mankany amin'ny toerana misy azy ary mbola vaovao ihany, cool thing at the same time. Noho izany, now, we've got this environment, where, "Bika, boom, we're the Compton Cowboys. We poppin'." The young homies, they want to come in now. They're like, "Bro, how can I be like that? How can I be like that? What's up with that? I want to ride, I want to rodeo, I want to whatever."

"It makes me so incredibly proud and emotional to look at my homies who was former gang members, and they're identifying themselves as a cowboy, and they are participating in the democratic process by voting and going for community rallies and talking t o the kids. I'm like, that shit is so... I can't even articulate how it makes me feel, and the pride it instills in my dad and my auntie, who this was their dream to change the hood for a positive way without losing the essence of who we are. And they've done that. My dad can walk outside right now and see 10 of the homies out there laughing it up, talking shit, or listening to loud music and drinking whatever, but guess what? We are globally making a move and changing people's perspectives on black people, on inner-city communities, on cowboys, on all of these fronts, and it's something to be proud of.
One of our mission's core elements is to pay homage to the culture, traditions, and legacy of the black cowboy. That is very important for us. It's not just about being cool and being dope and then doing stuff in the community. It's about creating a thread to our lineage and having pride in that, and being able to show the new generation that our people have contributed to the development of the modern world, Ny fampandrosoana ny sivilizasiona araka ny fantatsika izany, Amin'ny fomba maro kokoa sy fomba maro sy fomba maro hafa noho ny ampianarintsika na ny hahafantarantsika.
Ary noho izany, Izahay dia mirehareha amin'ny fametrahana ireo satroka kôkôla ireo ary mandeha any amin'ny hoditra volontany sy ny maha-olona azy, "Izany no ataontsika," Satria misy tantara lava ho an'izany. Ireo fandraisana anjara ireo dia tsy nisongadina na nankasitraka, na eo an-toerana, ny firenena, ary maneran-tany. Ampahany lehibe amin'ny zavatra ataontsika dia ny hamerenany azy amin'ny sarintany ho an'ny sarin'ny olona lehibe kokoa.
