If ever there was a collection more suited to superstar actresses and in demand socialites, it was conjured in the fabulous finery of Pamella Roland’s Fall 2018-19 latest offering. Positioned front row were the likes of iconic females of film Vanessa Williams and Patricia Clarkson through to trendsetter Nicky Hilton Rothschild – collectively optimizing the types of clients that Roland’s outstanding collections are in favor for; those who parade red carpet events or the charity circuit with effortless glamour and sophistication.

Inspiration is obtained from the beauty and elegance of Tiffany glass and intricate stained-glass windows. These ostentatious notions are applied amid the application of embroideries, silhouette trimmings, and alluring prints. Linear techniques are used to convey the appearance of windows throughout the autumn array, further complimented by blending shades of striking and muted hues, employed to signify the Opalescent method orchestrated in Tiffany stained glass.

Silhouettes that have become synonymous with the fashion house since its inception in Fall 2002 have undergone reimagining, courtesy of using novel techniques, where each are crafted with the finest of fabrications including organza, stretch crepe, various laces and degrade floral printed Mikado. A breath-taking juxtaposition of embroideries is decorated onto the garments throughout next seasons spectacle, including liner-mixed element embellishments, confetti beading, and ombre signature sequins, with additional ornate metallic beadwork, vivid ostrich features, pearls, and 3D floral appliques.

An edge was brought to the collection via ruffles that specifically decorated a flower-print dress, short and in red and white, tumbling down the yoke of the skirt and on the shoulder. With gorgeous gowns aside, the runway featured an offering of pants, and not forgetting the trendy alternative to a dress – a sequin and beaded jumpsuit. “I always need a jumpsuit,” Roland declared with humor.2002 have undergone reimagining, courtesy of using novel techniques, where each are crafted with the finest of fabrications including organza, stretch crepe, various laces and degrade floral printed Mikado. Plumes of feathers adorned a number of looks in the line-up, particularly beautiful on several strikingly colored short cocktail dresses which resembled light feather bombs – an ideal option for any young scarlet wishing to dance the night away.
